America the Beautiful 5 oz Silver Bullion — as issued by the mint
As issued by the United States Mint, every America the Beautiful piece is a 3-inch, 5 troy ounce .999 fine silver coin with a vapor-blasted matte finish, the incused edge marking .999 FINE SILVER 5.0 OUNCE, and no mint mark on the bullion issues. The Mint shipped them in tubes of five inside sealed monster boxes; certified examples like the one photographed above were pulled from those original tubes and submitted for grading, which is why an untouched, high-grade survivor trades far above a raw coin.

Reference plates illustrate the series as issued and are provided for comparison only. The photograph on the left is the piece you are buying.
What makes this silver piece unique
Deep Prooflike (DPL)
Deep prooflike surfaces — mirrored fields with strong frost on the devices. On a matte-finish bullion series this is genuinely scarce and commands a distinct premium over the same numeric grade.
Near-perfect 69
One tick from perfect, with a single trivial imperfection. Trades close to the 70 population while remaining far more available.
One in the vault — when it sells, it is gone
This is a single-piece listing. We do not restock certified coins: once it ships, the listing closes and the next example we find will be a different coin, at a different price.
Priced on merit, not melt
Raw silver is a commodity; a graded, designated survivor is not. This piece is priced on grade, designation, pedigree and the public sold results behind it — which is why it holds a premium that spot alone never explains.

Certified 2013 White Mountain 5 oz silver America the Beautiful quarter, graded NGC MS 69 DPL with the deep prooflike designation. One piece only.
The 2013 White Mountain 5 oz America the Beautiful honors New Hampshire's White Mountain National Forest and carries three inches of .999 fine silver struck at the Philadelphia Mint. This example earned NGC MS 69 DPL — the deep prooflike designation reserved for pieces with mirror-bright fields and strong frost, a small fraction of the graded population. Priced on grade, designation and surviving population rather than on spot. One in stock; all metals sales are final.
Congress authorized the America the Beautiful five-ounce series in 2010. White Mountain was the first release of the 2013 program, with a bullion mintage of 35,000 coins — among the lower figures of the series and far below modern silver eagle production.
