1. No investment, tax, or legal advice

Capstone Metals is a precious metals dealer. It is not a bank, broker-dealer, investment adviser, financial planner, custodian, trustee, accountant, or law firm, and it is not registered as such with the SEC, FINRA, the CFTC, or any state securities regulator.

Nothing on this website, in our guides, in our videos, or in any conversation with our staff is investment, tax, legal, or retirement advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any asset, or an offer to provide fiduciary services. We do not evaluate your overall financial situation. You should consult your own licensed investment adviser, CPA, and attorney before making any purchase, sale, rollover, or retirement account decision.

2. Market risk and no guarantee of performance

Precious metals are volatile. Their prices are driven by factors outside anyone's control, including monetary policy, interest rates, currency movements, industrial demand, market liquidity, and speculation. The value of metals you purchase can and does decline, and you may receive less than you paid.

Past performance, historical charts, and third-party commentary do not predict or guarantee future results. No one at this company can promise appreciation, income, protection from loss, or a specific outcome, and no statement here should be read as such a promise.

3. Pricing, premiums, and spreads

Sale prices and buy-back prices are set internally by us and change continuously with the market. Bullion products are generally priced relative to the prevailing spot price of the metal they contain, plus a premium that covers fabrication, dealer margin, handling, and delivery. Premium, collectible, graded, and limited-mintage products carry higher premiums that may not track spot and may take longer to resell.

There is a spread between the price at which we sell and the price at which we buy. Because of this spread, the market price of your metal must rise before a sale becomes profitable, and a short-term purchase and resale will normally result in a loss. Quoted prices are indicative only and are locked exclusively when an order is confirmed with a specialist and priced at that moment.

4. Buy-back policy

We maintain a standing commitment to quote a live bid on products we sold you, but we are not a market maker and we do not guarantee a specific buy-back price, a minimum price, or an obligation to purchase in all market conditions. Buy-back offers are subject to verification of authenticity, condition, quantity, and applicable settlement procedures. Metals are not liquid in the way listed securities are, and settlement may take several business days.

5. Self-directed IRAs and retirement accounts

A precious metals IRA is a self-directed individual retirement account administered by an independent, IRS-approved custodian. We are not that custodian, and we do not hold, administer, or take custody of retirement assets. Custodial and depository services referenced on this site, including Preferred Trust Company and Gold Star Trust Company, are provided by independent third parties under their own agreements, fee schedules, and terms.

Eligibility to open, fund, roll over, or transfer a retirement account, and the tax treatment of any such transaction, depends on your individual circumstances and current law. Rollovers and transfers done incorrectly can trigger taxes and penalties. Only metals meeting IRS fineness and form requirements may be held in an IRA, and IRA metals must be held by an approved depository — not at home, not in a personal safe, and not in a safe deposit box. Distributions, required minimum distributions, and early-withdrawal penalties are governed by the Internal Revenue Code. Verify all rules with your tax adviser and your custodian.

6. Third-party content

This site may include, embed, or link to third-party articles, market commentary, price data, and video content. Such material is provided for education only. The views expressed are those of the speakers or authors, are not endorsed or verified by us, may be outdated or inaccurate, and do not constitute advice. Any individual named or featured is not necessarily affiliated with, compensated by, or a client of this company unless expressly stated.

Spot price data and charts are provided by third-party feeds and may be delayed, interrupted, or inaccurate.

7. Website content, availability, and errors

Product descriptions, images, availability figures, premiums, and prices shown on this website are informational and are not an offer to sell at a stated price. Inventory changes throughout the trading day and listings may be incomplete, delayed, or contain typographical or pricing errors. We reserve the right to correct errors, decline or cancel any order, and limit quantities at any time before an order is confirmed and paid.

This website and its contents are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

8. Orders, payment, and delivery

All purchases are subject to our confirmed order terms, including payment method, settlement deadlines, and market-loss provisions in the event of non-payment or cancellation. Title and risk of loss pass as described in those terms. Shipments are insured in transit and require signature on delivery; claims must be reported within the window stated at the time of sale. Sales taxes, shipping, storage, custodial, and account fees may apply and are disclosed before an order is completed.

9. No solicitation where prohibited

The information on this site is directed to residents of the United States and is not an offer or solicitation in any jurisdiction where such an offer would be unlawful. Availability of specific products, accounts, and services varies by state and by custodian.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TB Alternative Assets LLC, its officers, members, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost opportunity, arising from your use of this website, reliance on any content, or any purchase or sale of precious metals. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.
