Sovereign and private-mint bullion — as issued by the mint
Sovereign bullion is struck to a published weight and fineness, machine-fed and shipped in mint tubes or assay cards rather than individually inspected. That is exactly why it prices off spot plus a modest premium, while a graded, designated survivor of the same series prices off merit, grade and pedigree.

Reference plates illustrate the series as issued and are provided for comparison only. The photograph on the left is the piece you are buying.
What makes this silver piece unique
One in the vault — when it sells, it is gone
This is a single-piece listing. We do not restock certified coins: once it ships, the listing closes and the next example we find will be a different coin, at a different price.
Priced on merit, not melt
Raw silver is a commodity; a graded, designated survivor is not. This piece is priced on grade, designation, pedigree and the public sold results behind it — which is why it holds a premium that spot alone never explains.

Certified 1921 Morgan silver dollar graded PCGS MS 65, the final year of the Morgan series. Two pieces in stock.
The 1921 Morgan dollar closed a series that began in 1878 and would not return for a century. This example is sealed in a PCGS holder at MS 65 — full mint bloom, no wear, and the strong strike collectors look for in a 1921. Priced on grade and collector demand rather than on melt: at 0.7734 troy ounces of fine silver, the metal alone accounts for only part of the price. Two pieces available; all metals sales are final.
The Pittman Act of 1918 melted more than 270 million silver dollars into bullion. The 1921 Morgan was struck to replace them, then the design was retired for the Peace dollar later the same year — making 1921 both the most common Morgan date and the last one.
